2021 Day Out With Thomas is canceled.
Day Out with Thomas, The Steam Team Tour, will be in Virginia City, Nevada on two weekends - October 19 - 20 and 25 - 27, 2019. This family event offers aspiring engineers and their families the opportunity to take a ride with the classic storybook engine along with fun activities for the entire family. The action will be centered at the Virginia & Truckee Railroad Depot in Virginia City and include a 25-minute train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine™, temporary tattoos, face painting, story telling, videos, train play tables, mini golf, coloring caboose, meet and take photos with Sir Topham Hatt, and shopping at the Thomas store.
Trains depart once an hour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Nearby free parking is available. Tickets are $19 and can be purchased online, by calling 866-468-3399, and at the Virginia City Depot, 165 F Street. Kids 2 and under are free if sitting on a lap.
