Several outdoor organizations in Reno and northern Nevada focus on enhancing and preserving the unmatched natural landscape we enjoy throughout the Silver State, much of which is on public lands belonging to all of us. There are also organizations devoted to the preservation and interpretation of cultural and historic resources. There are numerous ways you can get involved - join and help financially, volunteer at your favorite organization, participate in organized events and outings, simply get out and enjoy our great outdoors.
