The 2019-2020 school year begins on Monday, August 12, 2019. The Washoe County School District requires that students have current immunizations to enter school. Beginning in the 2017-2018 school year, the meningococcal vaccine (MCV4) will be required for all 7th graders and new students enrolling in grades 7 through 12. This vaccine is required in addition to the Tdap vaccine. For additional school immunization information, refer to "Immunizations" on the Washoe County School District website.
