The Ice Rink at Grand Sierra Resort

The Ice Rink is located on the Spa level. Use the Pool entrance. It's an outdoor rink of 8,000 square feet. It is open to everyone, not just hotel guests. The Ice Rink is scheduled to be open for the winter season on November 25, 2022.

The cost, with skate rental, is $17 per person per one hour session. If you have your own skates, it's $10 per person per session. A season pass for $275 includes skate rental and access to all sessions. There are 5 sessions per day. You can book your session online by visiting the website. Reno Ice

This facility is new to Reno and officially known at the Jennifer M. O'Neal Community Ice Arena. It is a year-round, indoor facility that includes food concessions, skate sharpening, skate rentals, and a pro shop. Reno Ice hosts many programs and events such as youth and adult hockey and figure skating programs, public skating, private lessons for figure skating and hockey, school field trips, homeschool skating programs, birthday parties, sled hockey, Reno Hockey Academy, and more to come.

Public skating requires that you create an online account. Once that is done, you can review the public skate schedule and reserve your skating times. Skating sessions are 1.5 hours. There are no walk-ins and all sales are final and not transferable. Admission for all ages is $10 per person. If you need a skate rental, it's $4 per person. Skate aids are available for $5.

Reno Ice is located in south Reno at 15500 Wedge Parkway, next to the South Valley Library and South Valleys Regional Sports Complex. The info phone is (775) 636-6900.

Ice Rinks in the Lake Tahoe Area

Tahoe City Winter Sports Park

In addition to an ice rink, this park includes a sled hill, cross-country ski trail and snowshoe trail. Available activities depend on snow conditions. Advance reservations required. Truckee Ice Rink

The Truckee Ice Rink features public skating, rentals, private lessons, and various ice-related activities. Located a half-mile south of downtown Truckee at Truckee River Regional Park (10500 Brockway Rd.). Visit the website for information about hours and fees.

Northstar California Village Ice Skating

Located in the heart of The Village at Northstar, the ice skating rink is the perfect place to gather with family, meet new friends, or relax by a warm fire pit. Access to the rink is free of charge. Everline Resort & Spa Ice Rink
