Connecting Seniors Newsletter is a free quarterly publication containing information about community events, programs, classes, and activities of particular interest to local seniors. It is available online at City of Reno Seniors, and can be picked up at many Reno recreation facilities, including Northeast Community Center, Neil Road Recreation Center, Teglia's Paradise Park Activity Center, Washoe County Senior Center and the Downtown Reno Library. Washoe Senior Ride Taxi Bucks Program - a program that can be used to help cover the cost of taxi rides and tips, helping seniors maintain their mobility and independence. The program is a service of the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC). (775) 348-0477.

May is Older Americans Month - In Reno, Sparks, and throughout Washoe County, May has numerous events and activities for senior citizens in recognition of Older Americans Month.
