The Reno region has a great public bus system operated by the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County. In addition to the buses, RTC operates a number of other transportation services to meet various community needs.

RTC RAPID VIRGINIA LINE - express bus service along Virginia Street between the UNR campus and the Meadowood Mall.
RTC ACCESS - paratransit service that provides door-to-door, prescheduled transportation for people with disabilities who meet the eligibility criteria.

RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR - provides daily service between Reno and Carson City (no weekend or holiday service).
