New Year's Eve is on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. New Year's Eve means big parties, celebrations, fireworks, and more around the Reno area and Lake Tahoe. There are also several places where you can enjoy eating out. Get more information from "New Year's Eve Dining Around Reno and Sparks."

New Year's Eve Fireworks and Parties in Downtown Reno

Downtown Reno is party central on New Year's Eve. There will be a big fireworks show starting at midnight, centered around the Reno Arch and fired off from the rooftops of THE ROW casinos. Virginia Street will be jumping with revelers and the casinos will be having rousing parties and dining specials.

Tuesday, December 31, 2024. The RTC is helping people celebrate responsibly and keeping our roads safe by providing free transit on New Year's Eve. Scheduled RTC transit services will be free starting at 6 p.m. until 2 a.m. on New Year's Day. The goal of providing this free service is to make it easy for people to get to their celebration destinations, to work, or to get home safely after celebrating on New Year's Eve. Keep in mind not all locations are served by transit, so check route and schedule information.

Tuesday, December 31, 2024. THE ROW is three casinos in downtown Reno - Silver Legacy, Eldorado, and Circus Circus. New Year's Eve will feature a bunch of parties at various bars and restaurants in all three locations. You need the All Access Pass or a cover charge at many of them, but there are also parties in several bars that have no cover and don't require tickets. Visit the website for details and online tickets. All venues are 21 and older. Be sure to go online and read about the conduct and dress code requirements if you want to party at THE ROW.
