There's a farmer's market going on in Reno and/or Sparks almost every day of the week during spring, summer and fall. We all know fresh fruit and vegetables taste better and you will be supporting many local businesses while getting good food for you and your family. If you know of others, let us know. When shopping, look for Grown in Nevada signs, which let you know that food and other products from vendors displaying the sign comes from right here in Nevada.

I've included farmers' markets in nearby areas, too. You can still shop for fresh produce and other goodies when out and about in northern Nevada and around Lake Tahoe.

No dogs allowed at farmers markets - Only registered service animals are allowed at farmers markets. Unless your dog is one of these, do not bring it to farmers markets.

Sparks Methodist Church Market on Pyramid Way
Tuesdays from June 4 through September 23, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Some of the freshest produce each week is available here. Located in the south parking lot of the Sparks United Methodist Church on the corner of 1231 Pyramid Way and Oddie in Sparks. (775) 358-0925.

Tamarack Junction Saturday Farmers Market
Saturdays from June 1 through September 28, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. In addition to fresh produce, you can enjoy arts, crafts and specialty foods. This farmers' market is at the Tamarack Junction casino, 13101 S. Virginia Street in south Reno. (775) 746-5024.

Local Harvest Farmers Market at Outlets at Legends

Carson Farmers Market
Saturdays from June 14 through October 4, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This Saturday morning market has grown to become one of Carson City's premier events for locals and tourists alike.
