Guided walks through some of Reno's historic districts from the Historic Reno Preservation Society (HRPS) are open to the public. These walks (and occasional bike rides) are for you if you want to know more about Reno's colorful past and the remnants that remain scattered throughout the city.

Walking Tours in June, 2025

June 2025 tours are on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Tours are free for HRPS members and $20 for non-members. Registration closes the day before the tour and the fee is collected just before each tour. Dogs are not allowed. Reservations required and space is limited. Visit the website for tour details and to register online.

  • June 3, 2025 - Circle Drive / Southridge
  • June 10, 2025 - Wells Avenue Neighborhood
  • June 17, 2025 - Hebrew and Knights of Pythias Cemeteries
  • June 24, 2025 - Hillside and Grand Army of the Republic Cemeteries

Saturday Tours (start at 9 a.m.)

  • June 7, 2025 - Bricks and Stones
  • June 14, 2025 - Cultural Crossroads
  • June 21, 2025 - Mansions on the Bluff: California Avenue
  • June 28, 2025 - Parsons and Mills Architecture
