Guided walks through some of Reno's historic districts from the Historic Reno Preservation Society (HRPS) are open to the public. These walks (and occasional bike rides) are for you if you want to know more about Reno's colorful past and the remnants that remain scattered throughout the city.

Walking Tours in May, 2017

May 2017 tours are on various days and start at various times. You can register online for these tours or call (775) 747-4478 for more information. Tours are free for HRPS members and $10 for non-members. Registration closes the day before the tour and the fee is collected just before each tour. Pets are not allowed.

Saturday Tours (start at 10 a.m.)

  • May 13 - DeLongchamps Residential Architecture
  • May 20 - Downtown Sparks
  • May 27 - Upper Ralston / Northern Little Italy

Tuesday Tours (start at 6 p.m.)

  • May 16 - Wells Avenue Neighborhood
  • May 23 - UNR Historic District
  • May 30 - University Neighborhood

June 2017 features a variety of historic walking tours on Tuesdays and Saturdays. You can register online for these tours or call (775) 747-4478 for more information. Tours are free for HRPS members and $10 for non-members. Registration closes the day before the tour. The fee is collected just before each tour. Pets are not allowed.
