This photo of the Reno skyline was taken 6/6/07. Old casino hotels (Sundowner, Comstock, Golden Phoenix) are well along in being converted to condos and retail space. A new condo building, the Palladio, has risen to its final height next to the Truckee River. The Mills B. Lane Justice Center is now open for business. There is lots more in the works. The Reno casinos are revamping their approach due to the rise in competition from online casinos. Just like Las Vegas, Reno will thrive again.
